Ingredients:

Olive oil
1 tbsp garlic puree
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 sticks celery, finely diced
2 large or 4 small carrots, finely diced
1½ lb minced lamb or 1lb minced lamb & ½lb leftover roast
lamb
½ pint lamb stock
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp coriander
½ tsp mild chilli powder
Salt & pepper
6 mushrooms, sliced
1 tin beans
Mashed potato
Directions:
  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas 4

  2. Heat oil in a large pan. Fry off the garlic, onions, celery & carrots until softening.

  3. Add the mince, fry until browned, add the lamb meat, if using then pour in the lamb stock. Stir.

  4. Stir in the seasonings, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

  5. Add the mushrooms and beans, taste for seasoning, simmer for a further 15 minutes.

  6. Pour into oven dish, top with mashed potatoe and bake for 30 minutes.
